    Surly Scot Review added: 2018.08.11
Wouldn't recommend them. Ordered two pieces of jewellery over the internet, was mailed completely the wrong colour on both items to USA. Called to have them fix it, owner told me his young female staff member filled the order and didn't read the invoice, she just sent me the ones in the picture on the website. No attempt to fix their mistake despite me asking to be sent the right colour, they just want me to send the items back and get a refund, I also confirmed with him he would refund me the cost of having to send back the items since he wouldn't mail me a return envelope. I had to FedEx the items back to the UK because USPS didn't insure up to their full value. The owner instantly began arguing with me that he shouldn't have to pay the FedEx fee to return them ($101). He said I didn't need to insure them, which seemed like he was hoping they would get stolen on the return trip then he wouldn't have to refund me at all. The customs form on the packet clearly have to state the value and what the items are, easy pickings for postal workers if the item is not insured or guaranteed delivery. We argued by email for a full week, eventually I had to inform him he had defrauded me and I was initiating proceedings with the Ombudsman and SagePay whom the money was transferred through, as well as contacting my lawyer in Glasgow. Eventually he relented, stating the employees mother had come in and offered to pay the return postage to fix her daughters mistake. Every job I have worked, when I make a mistake, I am the one who has to pay out of pocket for it, this seemed like too much of a lesson for him to teach his staff. Eventually I got my full refund back including the return postage. Even then his emails were flippant and obstinant. I would avoid this business simply because of the owners entire demeanor and reluctance to foot the cost for his staffs mistake, to him, that's the customers problem.
